Daily Algebra Review Exercises are on the board as students enter class.  They are expected to have their pencils sharpened, their materials organized, and be starting work on these problems by the time the tardy bell rings.  The students will have up to 5 minutes to complete these exercises.

Most days will include a brief presentation of the topics to be covered by the teacher, students are expected to take notes as guided by the instructor.  Students may engage in hands-on activities and/or work with other students while learning new concepts.  They will have guided practice of selected problems from the textbook, and independent practice which will usually need to be completed as homework.

Homework is to be ready to grade at the beginning of the next class period.  Students should expect to have a quiz each Friday and they should bring a book to read in case they finish their quiz early.

Late work will not be accepted unless due to an absence.
